David works as a policy officer for UNISON. His research interests include trade union reform, labour market policy and organisational change. He has previously chaired the TUC’s Trade Union Sustainable Development Advisory Committee (TUSDAC) working group and held lay roles with a number of unions over a varied career, including the EETPU, AEEU, GMB and UNISON.
Before joining UNISON David worked as a political officer for the Labour Party. David has been working with Unions 21 as a Senior Fellow to develop thinking on the way forward.
