The Commission on Collective Voice in the 21st Century brought together senior union leaders, employers, MPs, academics, think tank and charity chiefs to consider how engaging workers in regular and meaningful dialogue could improve their lives and support the economy.
Chair: Baroness Margaret Prosser
Margaret has been involved in the labour movement since the early 1970s, joining the Transport and General Workers Union in 1983 as a District Organiser, finally becoming Deputy General Secretary in 1998. She was also President of the TUC in 1996.
Vice Chair: Mike Clancy, Prospect
Mike has been the General Secretary of Prospect since 2012. Prospect represents 113,000 professional, managerial and technical staff, employed in central government, utilities, defence, telecommunications, nuclear decommissioning, air traffic control and science.
